Go-carts, train rides, paintball, a beach bar allowing you to enjoy a drink with the spectacular view of the Indian Ocean, a helicopter that takes you for a joy ride to experience the beautiful tranquil scenery of the northern coastline and plenty of family activities.
These are but a few of the highlights the first ever Blythedale Coastal Adventure Market had to offer on November 4.
From early on Sunday morning, the aroma of freshly ground coffee from the coffee shop, family chatter and anticipation filled the air at the Blythedale Events Bowl as visitors started arriving for a day of leisure and pleasure.
This market is like no other KwaZulu-Natal market.
It offers adventure paired with a variety of vendors with fresh produce, crafts and also stalls where you will be able to find the best Christmas gifts for friends and family.

Visitors could also choose between home baked goods, artisan prepared pork belly served full of flavour or even a gluten-free vegan meal from Chef Rum.
And for the sweet tooth there were colourful ice cream macarons, filled bubble waffles or even a dessert taco.
The adults had fun at the innovative beach bar and could enjoy activities like airsoft or paintball. The popular Gordon Graham from East Coast Radio broadcasted live from the market and added to the festive mood.
Go-carts, plenty of jumping castles (inflatables) and train rides kept the young ones busy.
This coming Sunday, November 11, there will also be pony rides on offer for kids and for the adults there will be a stall where you can have a mani, pedi and massage.
With so many activities and offerings, this market is sure to become one of the most talked about and epic markets along the coast.
And above all, parking and entrance is free. Make a note in your calendar and be sure not to miss out on the fun and action.
