Man viciously stabbed with broken bottle in Ottawa

A 42-year-old man was seriously injured after he was viciously attacked and stabbed on his head and face by a lone suspect in the Ottawa area, on Sunday.

The suspect fled the scene of the crime with the victim’s shoes, wallet and his work bag. Security company, Reaction Unit South Africa received a call for assistance at about 4:32pm.

When reaction officers arrived at the scene, they found the man bleeding profusely from open wounds on his head and face.

“The victim explained that he had just gotten off the train after visiting his family at a farm, when he was attacked by a man with a broken bottle,” a report issued by RUSA indicated.

After stabbing him, the suspect kicked the victim in the face and head as well. Paramedics were called to the scene. The victim was treated and then transported to a local hospital.
