Glenhaven Secondary bids farewell to English master

Principal, Phillip Reddy presents a token of appreciation to Mr V Chellan.

Glenhaven Secondary School bid farewell to yet another seasoned teacher, Mr V Chellan, who will take up his promotion post as HOD languages at Seatides on July 1, 2018.

Mr V Chellan, an experienced English master served Glenhaven Secondary School for well over a decade. He has been responsible for the languages department for the past few years.

He has been an integral part of the school’s English intervention programme which has ensured that previously disadvantaged pupils were well prepared especially for their national senior certificate exams, in the midst of all their challenges.

“We will miss his rich experience and well-honed skills, which have made a difference at Glenhaven Secondary. On behalf of the staff, pupils and SGB, we want to wish him well and we know that he will always be an asset at any institution that he serves,” said principal, Philip Reddy.

The staff gave Mr Chellan a special send off in the last week of the school term.
