Pupils win big for their recycling efforts

Lifebuoy ambassador, Mr B Maharaj, deputy principal, Soul Buddyz co-ordinator, Siza, pupils and principal, Mr PP Pather, with the computer system, which pupils will benefit from.

Verulam Primary School was awarded a computer system to the value of R15, 000 by the Lever Brothers for their efforts in the collection of Lifebuoy wrappers for a recycling competition.

A number of schools were involved in the competition.

According to the principal, the computer system will definitely benefit youngsters in a magnificent way.

The management and staff of the school commended their pupils for their recycling efforts and also praised Lever Brother for their sense of social commitment.
