Motorists are once again urged to be extra cautious on the roads after a high-impact collision claimed a life on the N2 near the Tugela Bridge, earlier today.
The N2 north bound lane was closed following the accident, which involved a fuel-tanker and light motor vehicle.
According to IPSS Rescue, the driver of the light motor vehicle sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead by paramedics.
The KwaDukuza Fire Department was at the scene and used the Jaws of Life to free the trapped driver from the wreckage. The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries.
