Boys and girls who have a love for sport are to take note that the Phoenix Sports Festival programme in association with SAFA Phoenix and KZN Football Academy will be hosting a trials weekend on February 17 and 18, 2018.
This is a call-out to all children born between the years 2000 and 2003 and 2004 and 2007 respectively to come through and showcase their skills on the field.

All interested youngsters have to bring along a valid SA birth certification and be in the presence of their parent or guardian. According to organisers, the football trials will be held at the Eastbury Top Grounds commencing from 8am and concluding at 5pm on both days.
Children born between 2000 and 2003 be part of the Saturday trials while children born between 2004 and 2007 will be part of the Sunday trials.
“This initiative is the very first of its kind to be held in Phoenix and we look forward to the full support from the community and all sporting associations, clubs and schools. This initiative will have specialised coaches from a well-established and renowned sporting academy engaging in sessions with the children,” organisers said.
