Good times ahead for Phoenix Villagers Athletic Club

Team PVAC are all set for the new season.

The athletes of the Phoenix Villagers Athletic Club were recently honoured for their various achievements.

Trophies were presented to all achievers of their mileage from development runners to Comrades runners. The awards ceremony was a resounding success and after formalities concluded, a delicious braaivleis was held.

All athletes enjoyed letting loose and tucking into the sumptuous meals. Team PVAC are all geared up for the new season and are ready to take on all challenges.

Their weekly development run is attracting large numbers, which is a clear indication that everyone is becoming conscious of engaging in a healthy lifestyle.

One can either participate in a 4km or 5km run/walk, which commences at 6.30am from the Raza Plaza Phoenix- mosque parking lot.

Hydration is provided at the finish and entrance is absolutely free to the public. For more information, contact Danny Chetty on 082-454-4073 or Sumeshan Govender on 082-051-8178.
