Panthers compete in Soweto Marathon

Panthers members in the Thinnys League Challenge.

As most people are counting down to year end, Tongaat Panthers members are still leaping ahead.  This past weekend, four of them took part among 20 000 others in the Soweto Marathon.

The scorching Summer’s heat did not deter them when Sajhida Abdool, Patrick Ludongo and Raju Nundlal completed the marathon. Club members had a good run through the township of Soweto which saw Patrick Ludongo completing in 3: 50.

Last Sunday, another team completed the South Coast Goss and Balfe marathon, with Comrades silver medalist, Themba Qhaniso, maneuvering his way through to the finish in 3: 16.
