Dawncrest Primary’s table-tennis champs

Neolyn Chetty, Nadeen Gounden, Caleb Harinarrain, Gabriella Padayachee, Akhil Anandlal, Kiera Govender and Jauhara Bayat (Seated) Miss J Chetty (manager), Maseeha Sayed, Mr M Hassan (principal), Keisha Moodley, and Mrs MR Pather (coach and manager). All the above pupils were selected to participate in friendship games to be held in Phoenix on August 19.

At the recently held Tonver Games, Dawncrest Primary girls were the champions in table-tennis. Maseeha Sayed came first and Keisha Moodley came second in singles.

In the doubles section, Gabriella Padayachee and Jauhara Baya came first and Maseeha and Keisha camesecond. Maseeha was declared most valuable player (MVP).

Kiera Govender and Nadeen Gounder were placed first in doubles.  On behalf of the SGB, staff and pupils, principal H Hassan said they would like to wish their pupils all the best in the Friendship Games.
