Panthers take on Club Maharaj Memorial challenge

Dedicated Panthers who are all set for the next challenge.

Thirty Panthers successfully participated in the Club Maharaj Memorial 27km Walk, recently. The Panthers started the walk with lots of enthusiasm from Victoria Primary School, along the Watson Highway and to the King Shaka International Airport to the R102 and then to the Canelands Bridge and back.

The lovely friendly supporters and helpers at the refreshment tables added to the positive spirit that prevailed among all walkers that morning.

Panthers star and comrades Silver medalists, Temba Qhaniso manoeuvred his way through with his power walking and finished in 2.38. Panthers glamorous gran, Pushpa Pillay was the first lady walker home in 3:55. The club executive thanked all helpers on the road and congratulated the finishers.
