Longcroft Primary shines at cross country event

Longcroft Primary pupils together with their principal, Mr A Hansraj, co-ordinator, Mrs I Brijlal and Mrs JT Padayachi, after their successful participation in the cross country.

Longcroft Primary School is extremely proud of their 33 pupils who participated in the first round of the cross country that was held at Palmcroft Primary.

The principal, Mr A Hansraj, said the pupils gave off their best adding that to their delight. Seventeen of their pupils were selected to participate in the PHOESSA [Phoenix North) cross country held at Gandhi Park on August 7.

Grade five pupil, Angel Mashaq, was selected to go on to the next round which was held in Verulam at the Golden Sands school on August 11. 

Here she excelled as she was one of the six pupils in her age group selected to represent the region at Howard College.  “We are extremely proud of all our pupils. Well done on your achievements, we are truly proudly Longcroft,” said Hansraj.
