Sunford Primary School takes road safety serious

Sunford Primary School scholar patrols all ready to save lives. The school has officially launched a successful scholar patrol programme to curb accidents.

As a result of numerous incidents involving road safety issues and accidents involving pupils, Sunford Primary School has applied to KwaZulu-Natal’s Department of Transport for registration of a scholar patrol in the school.

The school is pleased to announce that they have been successful in their participation and have officially launched a successful scholar patrol programme.

Selected teachers and pupils have been specially trained by qualified personnel from the KZN Department of Transport to safely direct pupils across the road once traffic has been stopped.

The school management and staff said they would be grateful if motorists adhere to the road safety programme that they have initiated for the safety of pupils at Sunford Primary School.
