Parents urged to be aware of ‘Blue Whale’ suicide game

Every day, children are exposed to more advanced technology and applications that are made available by the devices parents purchase for them. I strongly believe that parents need to pay more attention to their children and the devices in their possession.

As parents, very often, we get caught up in matters and we forget to fulfill our duties as a parent. However, I strongly believe that we should not neglect our children. I am deeply concerned about a number of new mobile applications which are almost at our shores, namely the ‘Blue Whale’ game which has sparked anger within the community.

As parents, we need pay more attention to the mobile apps that our children choose to download. We need to advise and guide our children.  I urge parents to take this matter seriously and set the foundation for their future.
